Lo stagno Italiano
Immagino la ferrovia con i treni a vapore, le ciminiere,
il cielo grigio–nero nel 1860 a Londra, nella zona di
Finsbury Park… una fabbrica rumorosa che processava
carbone e inchiostro fino al 1960, leggo all’ingresso del
parco con uno stagno. Cammino vicino ad una linea
ferroviaria e su quel cartello c’è scritto, sul luogo della
fabbrica oggi c’è un parco e uno stagno con dei gigli, rose di stagno, dalie ed alberi incantevoli. Le forme delle piante, la luce, i suoni della natura e degli uccelli mi regalano la sensazione che il tempo si fosse fermato in quell’epoca.
Un posto che non è riportato nelle guide turistiche.
Viviamo in un mondo sempre più caotico e sovraffollato, quartieri squallidi sempre più in estensione, inquinamento, rumori e degrado sociale.
Le montagne, i parchi, gli stagni, i ruscelli, i boschi e le foreste ci regalano ancora dei momenti di pace, tranquillità e poesia.
Per questo progetto ho creato una serie di dipinti a olio e acrilico, dipingendo delle forme e colori che in realtà non
esistono. Il punto di partenza sono tre dipinti dello stagno,
che infine ho sviluppato e trasformato in “Le quattro stagioni”.

The Pond English
I imagine the railway with steam trains, the chimneys, the grey-black sky in 1860 in London, in the Finsbury Park area... a noisy factory that processed coal and ink until 1960, I read at the entrance of the park with a pond. I walk near a railway line, and on that sign, it says that where the factory once stood, there is now a park and a pond with lilies, pond roses, dahlias, and enchanting trees. The shapes of the plants, the light, the sounds of nature and birds give me the feeling that time stopped in that era. A place not mentioned in tourist guides.
We live in an increasingly chaotic and overcrowded world, with ever-expanding rundown neighborhoods, pollution, noise, and social decay.
Mountains, parks, ponds, streams, woods, and forests still offer us moments of peace, tranquility, and poetry.
For this project, I created a series of oil and acrylic paintings, painting shapes and colors that don’t actually exist. The starting point is three paintings of the pond, which I then developed and transformed into "The Four Seasons."
